Lay it on me.

Your worst Valentine’s Day story, that is. Seriously, I know I write romance, but trust me. My real life is seriously lacking in the romance department. Tomorrow I spend yet another V day single. I don’t really care that much. No, really. I don’t. Reminds me, I need to rent V for Vendetta and buy a bottle of vodka for tomorrow night.

Anyway, I want to hear YOUR horrible Valentine’s Day story. And I will make it all better by sending you a signed copy of my latest release, Deliciously Sinful, and a $20 gift certificate to Amazon so you can buy yourself a little something.

So go on. Let’s here it.

Meanwhile.

So, my worst Valentines day was the first year I was single after my ex broke up with me. I had plans with a guy I was kinda seeing to hang out and “watch a movie” and I got stood up. So I drove to the store to get some chocolate and ice cream and pizza and mac and cheese for a fat kid night alone. I get to the store and my ignition in my car broke, I could not turn my car OFF! I had no idea what to do. I did not just want to sit there untill my car ran out of gas. So I opened the hood and just started pulling things until it stopped and could get the car towed. That was the worst.

I doubt it will be my worst but last year was my saddest. My husband and I finally decided to get a divorce. It was the right thing to do for both of us. This is my first Valentine’s Day as a single gal. I know for a fact that it will be happier than last year. I’m looking forward to pampering myself. :)

That’s great, Stacie! I got divorced right around Valentines Day a few years ago. I can’t help it, I still miss getting flowers, but who knows. The day is still young! Go pamper yourself!

My worst Valentine’s day was in 1991 my 8th grade year. We buried my favorite Uncle who died of an overdose on Feb 10th. For me Valentine’s Day has been hard ever since because the night before he died, me and my uncle got into a huge fight and I said something that I can never tell him I am sorry for and didn’t mean, I told him to drop dead and that I hated him. I know that it wasn’t because of me that he died, he had an addiction that beathim, but I can never take those words back and just tell him that I loved him more than he ever knew. That was my worst Valentine’s Day ever and one that I will never be able to forget.
